Certificated Tests
The Testing Laboratory (TL) LLC “Spetstechkomplekt” was commissioned in 2013 by order of the general director of LLC “Spetstechkomplekt”.
Specialists at TL are conducting tests based on the program and test methods (PM) or technical specification (TS) for the test product. PM or TS are being provided by the customer of the developer of the product.
At the TL LLC “Spetstechkomplekt”, in accordance with the scope of accreditation, are being conducted tests on packages and packaging sets, containers, including dual-use containers (storage and transportation) for the radioactive substances or products that are based on them, as well as for radioactive waste. Additionally, are being tested components of packaging sets, packages and containers. Tests are done based on the following indicators:
-collection rate;
-marking;
-completeness;
-sealing devices;
-impermeability;
-solidity after the exposure to internal pressure;
-solidity of sling devices;
-the ability to withstand the normal transportation conditions after being exposed to:
· Splashing with water (simulating rain conditions)
· Compression (stacking)
· Dropping (free fall, impact during the free fall)
Impact (on the severeness of destruction)
-the ability to withstand the emergency transportation conditions after being exposed to:
· Dropping (free fall, impact during the free fall)
· Dynamic impact (on the severeness of destruction)
· Dynamic crush
